Live, Die, Escape (DEMO)

Description
Live, Die, Escape is a room based puzzle game in which you are attempting to escape a prison. You must venture room to room, finding the keys and items to progress through the level, while avoiding the guards and other obstacles. Some obstacles are deadly, while others are minor inconveniences. Good luck!
How to Play
The end goal is a little green square in the last room (This is temporary). Once you get there, you win! Simply follow the path of the rooms, keeping track of which items are needed where. Make sure to read the signs!

WASD - Move
E - Interact
Esc - Pause game
Left Shift - Dash
Left Click - Use Item (click in inventory)

I feel the game has a lot of potential; however, I feel the biggest issue right now is the fact that death, or taking damage at all, doesn't really have any consequence to it. There isn't really anything stopping the player from just running into the lasers, dying once or twice, and then just reaching the end. I think that either changing where the player responds, or adding a damaging obstacle that can't be walked through could help fix this.
also support for keyboard arrow keys would be nice too :)
thank you for the feedback! I definitely agree about player penalties and better obstacles. Arrow key support will definitely be added next update as well :)
